Brian has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. He worked for Titleist Golf as a Process & Manufacturing Engineer for three years where he was responsible for multiple projects involving mechanical, electrical, computer and software design for industrial automation--including human interface design and process optimization for multiple international production facilities.

As a member of the three-man engineering team responsible for global club manufacturing at Titleist's Club Manufacturing Plant in Carlsbad, CA, Brian has developed an invaluable ability to manage multiple projects while overseeing a diverse team--seeing projects through design, development, optimization, and implementation.

Brian is one year into his MBA, and is currently the project lead and principle design engineer on multiple web apps that Valantis Enterprises is producing.

After receiving his BA in Political Science from Vanderbilt University, Derek came to San Diego to pursue his passion for legal studies. While attending Thomas Jefferson School of Law he has focused his study on IP Law, Business Formation and Governance, and Business Taxation.

Derek is also the financial and tax planner for Valantis Enterprises. He has a thorough understanding of GAAP as well as both partnership and corporate tax law. He is scheduled to graduated from law school in May, at which point he plans to continue his work with the group on a full-time basis.

Travis Leleu

Travis graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2004. Immediately after graduation he began working for the U.S. Department of Defense as a web applications programmer and data analyst. He also has experience in analysis of qualitative survey responses using a technology called latent semantic analysis. He is certified as both a Zend Certified PHP Engineer as well as a Department of Defense Unix/Linux System Administrator, Level III (the highest level possible).

Travis is the technical lead for the group's many projects, coordinating with outside development groups as well as in-house development. His interests lie in developing robust, usable, and fault-tolerant web applications with a specific focus on human-computer interaction as well as interface development.
